Triumph Unveils Tiger Sport 800 TourTriumph Motorcycles is adding a new adventure sport tourer to the line-up for 2026, with the launch of the new Tiger Sport 800 Tour, offering exciting sports performance, enhanced specification and excellent value for money.

The Tiger Sport 800 Tour builds on the award-winning Tiger Sport 800 with enhanced touring features, fitted as standard, including a centre stand, heated grips, hand guards, and a dual Comfort Seat.

Ready for any adventure, the new model also features an aluminium luggage rack with integrated, colour-matched panniers and a twin-helmet top box with dual backrest pads. For added safety and ease of use, the Tour also includes a Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS).

The Tiger Sport 800 Tour is available in two striking new colour schemes that highlight its dynamic styling. Matt Cobalt delivers a bold, contemporary look with deep blue tones contrasted by Matt Sapphire Black and matt gold accents across the cockpit, fairing, and rear panels. For riders who prefer a more vibrant look, Carnival Red offers a rich, glossy finish paired with Sapphire Black details and the same gold highlights for a dramatic, high-energy presence. Each scheme extends seamlessly to its matching panniers and top box, creating a fully integrated, premium finish.

Triumph’s high performance 800cc triple engine, which made its debut on the Tiger Sport 800, powers the new Tour model, delivering a thrilling 115 PS peak power at 10,750 rpm. 90% of the torque is available throughout the mid-range, peaking at 84 Nm at 8,500 rpm, delivering an eager and instant response throughout the rev range.

With its confidence-inspiring chassis, adjustable Showa suspension, radial brake calipers and a wet weight of 232kg (with the included luggage), the Tiger Sport 800 Tour is agile and responsive. Sculpted bodywork and a standard-fit adjustable wind deflector provide enhanced wind protection. There’s ample room for a pillion with a dual Comfort Seat and space for luggage for two, with large-capacity colour coded panniers offering 57 litres of space, and a large 49-litre top box.

The new Tiger Sport 800 Tour adds TMPS to its comprehensive set of rider-focused technology, which includes three riding modes, ride by wire throttle and switchable traction control, while Triumph’s Shift Assist, Optimised Cornering ABS and Optimised Cornering Traction Control ensure optimum control even in the trickiest of conditions. Standard features such as LED lights, multi-functional LCD and TFT instruments with turn-by-turn navigation and Bluetooth phone connectivity all further enhance the riding experience.

Paul Stroud, Chief Commercial Officer, Triumph Motorcycles said: “The Tiger Sport 800 Tour combines the proven sports performance and agility of the Tiger Sport 800 and adds full touring specification, fitted as standard.

“This is a motorcycle our customers have been asking for, designed to enhance comfort and capability on longer adventures. By offering this level of specification at an attractive price, we’re making sports touring more accessible and creating a compelling option that will help us grow market share.”

SPORTS PERFORMANCE

The Tiger Sport 800 Tour’s triple engine delivers pure exhilaration, with a smooth linear power delivery that combines the low-down torque of a twin with the high-revving power of an inline four. The triple throttle bodies deliver the unique Triumph triple roar through the sports exhaust, which can be further enhanced by an accessory Akrapovič silencer.

Just like the Tiger Sport 800, the Tour also features a slick, six-speed gearbox with Triumph Shift Assist fitted as standard, ensuring every gear change is smooth, precise and fatigue-free, even on longer journeys.

EFFORTLESS AGILITY

Engineered for responsive handling and confident stability across varied terrain, the Tiger Sport 800 Tour is equipped with top specification adjustable suspension components. Its suspension setup features Showa 41mm upside-down forks with rebound and compression damping adjustment, paired with a Showa monoshock offering rebound adjustment, 150mm of wheel travel, and a remote hydraulic preload adjuster for quick tuning when carrying luggage or a pillion.

Braking performance comes from Triumph-branded radial-mounted four-piston calipers and twin 310mm front discs, supported by a single-piston sliding caliper and 255mm disc at the rear. This combination provides precise control and strong stopping power, even when fully loaded. Lightweight cast aluminium wheels are fitted with Michelin Road 5 sport-touring tyres for dependable grip and stability in all conditions.

The Tiger Sport 800 Tour retains the spacious riding position and an ergonomically designed Comfort Seat for both rider and pillion, with integrated grab handles for added security. Now fitted as standard, the Comfort Seat adds 3D net technology for optimum weight distribution and integrated air channels to improve cooling.  . The inclusion of hand guards and heated grips ensure riders have all they need to enjoy their next adventure.

A manageable 835mm seat height and slim stand-over width make low-speed manoeuvres easy, while the new centre stand makes parking and maintenance easier. The single-handed adjustable windscreen and integrated deflectors enhance protection from the elements at higher speeds. With great fuel range from the 18.6 litre tank and a generous 106 litres of luggage capacity, there’s room for two XL full-face helmets (two in the top box, or one in each pannier), and space to pack everything, from the weekly shop to weekends away.

RIDER FOCUSED TECHNOLOGY

Whether covering ground or attacking the bends, the Tiger Sport 800 Tour is equipped with rider-focused technology to make every ride effortless. Intelligent electronics and selectable riding modes tailor power delivery and rider aids to the conditions, while the new TPMS included as standard, adds reassurance.

Three modes, Sport, Road, and Rain, are available at the touch of a button. Sport sharpens throttle response for a more dynamic feel, while Road offers balanced performance for everyday riding, and Rain provides extra security in wet conditions. Optimised cornering ABS and traction control further enhance confidence when conditions turn challenging.

Connectivity and visibility are equally advanced. The My Triumph Connectivity System comes as standard, enabling turn-by-turn navigation, phone integration, and music control via Bluetooth. A clean, multi-functional display combines an LCD with a colour TFT screen for quick, intuitive access to information, while all-LED lighting ensures excellent visibility and complements the Tiger Sport 800 Tour’s distinctive, aggressive look.

CLASS-LEADING COST OF OWNERSHIP

The Tiger Sport 800 Tour offers class-leading service intervals and shorter workshop times, backed by a global two-year unlimited mileage warranty that also covers Genuine Triumph Accessories. The result is a lower cost of ownership and more time on the road.

For riders who want to make the bike their own, Triumph provides a range of 35 genuine accessories, from styling and protection to performance upgrades. Every accessory is engineered to the same standards as the motorcycle itself, ensuring seamless integration and reliability.
